SAIC is seeking a senior resource to provide deep expertise recommending future direction for mission systems, mentoring less experienced staff, and nurturing opportunities to drive growth for the intelligence community market. The candidate will leverage their expertise to conduct research, provide recommendations, and predict future trends to achieve mission objectives across an SAIC Intelligence customer's technology programs.
The ideal candidate is passionate, resilient, and a strong communicator who welcomes debate; has critical-thinking skills; and the ability to think objectively. This position is located in Bethesda, Maryland.
Duties will include:
* Defining future direction to include establishing the sequencing of major activities and recommending the allocation of resources, as well as overseeing. management controls to achieve mission objectives for the customer.
* Advising, guiding, and influencing less experienced customer staff toward maturation of their core competencies and career aspirations.
* Identify, nurture, and acquire opportunities to pioneer intellectual property for the intelligence community market space.
Qualifications
* Active TS/SCI with Poly is required.
* Bachelors' degree and 15+ years of experience working across Defense, Homeland Security, and the Intelligence Community.
* Experience designing, developing, and delivering tactical solutions for strategic-level challenges.
* Experience leading large-scale, transformational efforts.
* Experience leading business development efforts for portfolios of IT capabilities.
* Ability to work in a dynamic mission environment which requires balancing competing priorities and schedules.
Desired Qualifications:
* Former member of the Senior Executive Service corps with the Federal Government.
Target salary range: $160,001 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
