We have a unique and exciting opportunity for an experienced RF Sensor Systems engineer to work in the GA-ASI Agile Mission System (AMS) division on a family of programs. This RF Sensor System digital signal processing expert will create and implement RF sensing algorithms.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The well qualified candidate will have implemented several and have some expertise of all the following Radar processing techniques:
- In-Phase and Quadrature Array Signal Processing
- RF Adaptive Signal Processing and Beamforming
- Discrete Fourier Transform
- IQ Channel Imbalance
- Array Manifold Calculations
- Radar Processing methods
- Range Migration Techniques
- Clutter Cancellation
- Space Time Adaptive Processing
- Range Doppler Map Target Detection Algorithms
- Time Difference of Arrival (TDoA) Concepts

Job Qualifications:
- Requires a master's degree or PhD in engineering or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution and progressive engineering experience as follows; thirteen or more years of experience with a master's degree, or ten or more years with a PhD. May substitute equivalent engineering experience in lieu of education.
- Desired Qualifications:
- Research and design experience, patents or publications on High-Frequency RF Sensor Systems are highly desirable. Familiarity with existing HF electromagnetic wave ionospheric propagation models is important.
- Master's Degree or PhD in Electrical, Computer, Physics, Math, or related engineering and science field plus 15 years of direct experience in the following areas:
- Research and design experience, patents or publications on High-Frequency RF
- RF Physics
- Wave Propagation
- Digital Signal Processing
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance is required.
