Location: New York (Candidates must be East Coast based)

Duration: 12 months | 40 hours p/w

Rate: $90 per hour

Remote with quarterly workshop meetings

About the Role:

As a Senior Product Designer for our client in the retail sector, your primary focus will be to create a new feature on their e-commerce platform. You'll lead the design process from ideation to implementation, ensuring a seamless user experience and driving innovation in the digital retail space.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design process for creating a new feature on the client's e-commerce platform
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define the feature's vision, goals, and requirements
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that align with project goals and user needs
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions
• Iterate on designs based on feedback and insights gathered throughout the design process

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 years of experience in product design, with a focus on retail
• Proficiency in UX principles, user-centered design, and industry-leading methodologies
• Exceptional visual design skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Candidates must have a Corporation or LLC for C2C arrangements

Additional Details:

• Remote role with occasional onsite workshops/meetings
• This is a contract position
