The Ad Platforms team builds privacy-first advertising products available globally that deliver helpful experiences to consumers and substantial value to app developers. We are looking for a curious, analytical and collaborative technical product manager to form a deep understanding of the value drivers of this business to help inform and develop the next generation of App Ads products!
Key Qualifications
- 7+ years of technical product management experience building consumer or enterprise products; outstanding product intuition and a keen understanding of what makes for an extraordinary customer experience
- Experience building high performing visual ad formats or similar UI optimizations
- Experience working closely with cross-functional teams to define and drive product strategy and roadmap
- Proven track record of collaborating with engineers, analysts and human interface designers on technical and visual design discussions and proposing simple, creative solutions to complex problems
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyze opportunities from many angles (quantitatively and qualitatively), balancing the interests of multiple key stakeholders and to drive appropriate performance tracking
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; ability to clearly articulate product vision, product strategy and requirements to designers, engineers, and internal business partners
- Ability to build positive relationships, influence without authority, sell concepts internally, and actively drive decision-making across organizations
- Self-motivated, thrives in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of ownership and accountability
Description
- Act as a product owner for new App Ads initiatives to drive growth for app developers and support overall business needs across the consumer and advertiser experiences throughout the world
- Work closely with Data Insights (data scientists & analysts) and Engineering teams to identify strategic opportunities and achieve them by planning for, developing, and launching products at scale
- Coordinate with product manager colleagues and engineers to brainstorm ideas, align around a strategy and roadmap, and integrate development timelines
- Define product features/enhancements and communicate requirements to Human Interaction and Engineering teams, via clearly written requirements documents, diagrams, and concise verbal communication
- Partner with engineers to enable them to identify the critical path, prioritize, and deliver upon requirements
- Synthesize insights from research, customer meetings, platform engagement, and sales feedback to prioritize improvements and new feature ideas that will deliver business goals and customer benefits
- Collaborate with partner product managers and go-to-market teams on the delivery strategy and plans
Education & Experience
BS or MS in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics or related areas.

Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $170,700 and $300,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
