About the role If you thrive on taking ownership of projects, finding ways to challenge and strengthen ideas in a collaborative process, finding a common language with others and bringing them to a consensus, you will probably be a natural fit for this role.
  • Taking ownership of the product development process from idea generation to product delivery, ensuring the effective launch, repositioning, merger or closure of products.
  • Critically assessing and strengthening product proposals in terms of their viability, relevance, value-add for the clients and alignment with the wider business strategy.
  • Monitoring existing products and showing vision by proactively building the case for changes.
  • Developing strong working relationships with key stakeholders to create cross-functional synergies.
  • Managing internal communication about products, including regular updates to internal stakeholders.
  • Acting as a leader of continuous improvement of our product management and development processes.
  • Completing all duties in accordance with our governance framework and regulatory best practice. QUALIFICATIONS Skills Required:
    • University degree or qualification deemed equivalent.
    • CFA or CAIA is a requirement.
    • More than seven years of relevant asset management experience in product strategy, product development and/or product management.
    • In-depth understanding of investment strategies.
    • Previous experience in alternative investments a plus (e.g. private debt, hedge funds).
    • Business acumen and a capacity for idea generation.
    • Natural team player and communicator, with an ability to tactfully argument and build consensus.
    • Strong drive to lead the development of our new products.
    • Ability to work in a multicultural environment and with teams in multiple locations.
    • Expert user of common IT applications (MS Office) and Bloomberg.
