About the Role:

We are seeking a strategic and innovative Senior Product Manager, Machine Learning to lead our efforts in integrating machine learning solutions across key business areas. This role will require collaboration with engineering, data science, and business teams to build and scale ML-driven products that align with customer needs and company objectives.

You Will:

Strategic Planning:

  • Define and drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap for ML products.
  • Identify opportunities to apply machine learning to solve complex business challenges and improve customer experiences.
  • Align ML initiatives with broader business objectives and performance metrics.

    • Product Development:

  • Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation to deployment and iteration.
  • Collaborate with engineering and data science teams to build scalable, reliable ML solutions.
  • Prioritize features and projects based on impact, feasibility, and alignment with company goals.

    • Data-Driven Decision Making:

  • Leverage data and analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Power BI) to evaluate product performance.
  • Monitor the impact of ML solutions on customer experience and operational metrics.
  • Iterate on features using A/B testing and other validation methods.

    • Customer-Centric Innovation:

  • Conduct customer research to understand pain points and preferences.
  • Design and launch ML-powered features that deliver value to customers.
  • Ensure ML solutions are ethical, inclusive, and address diverse user needs.

    • Cross-Functional Leadership:

  • Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders, including leadership, engineering, marketing, and customer support teams.
  • Present progress, challenges, and outcomes to executive leadership.
  • Foster a collaborative culture across teams working on ML initiatives.

    • You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, including at least 2 years working with machine learning products.
  • Proven track record of launching successful ML-powered features or systems.
  • Strong understanding of machine learning concepts and their applications in business.
  • Experience with Agile or Kanban methodologies.
  • Proficiency with data tools like SQL, Tableau, or Power BI.

    • Compensation Details: The starting base salary range for this position is typically $150,000-$190,000. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
