Ensure that work for the production floor the movement of released product to all necessary production, inspection and test areas as end items are manufactured. Issues and tracks work orders, ensuring that required material is supplied to the production floor. Expedites and prioritizes work orders and participates in weekly production schedule meetings.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Sequences production schedules to ensure on-time delivery metric achieved for customer orders and optimized production.
- Manage work order releases with respect to material requirements planning.
- Work with production and other departments to establish weekly production targets.
- Utilizes capacity and demand data to create recovery dates for late orders and lead times
- Identify upcoming capacity bottlenecks and implement solutions
- Present data and issues clearly to all levels of the organization
- Efficiently communicate with Inside Sales on prioritization, delays, and lead times
- Interfaces with manufacturing personnel, purchasing personnel, etc. on material status and production planning issues.
- Understand and observe all safety guidelines and assure quality and safety by complying with all appropriate CBI policies and procedures.
- Lead and assist in special projects.
- Recommend and utilize tool improvement in the planning area
- Report immediately all suspicious and hazardous conditions to a supervisor.

- Assist in maintaining clean, orderly, and hazard-free work areas.
- Able to work with minimal supervision, be a self-starter and be detail oriented.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to demonstrate the following competencies:

- Strong analytical skills in both reading and creating data

- Strong cross functional ability and understanding of other production areas
- Ability to lead and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Advanced planning knowledge such as SQL, APICS certifications, PowerBI, or advanced Excel
- Ability to write and read English
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's in science in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or other related field preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment and working with an MRP/ERP system preferred.
- Prefer 10+ Years of experience in planning
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:
- APIC's certification preferred
