Program participants engage in a variety of onsite services, including case management, vocational training, housing advocacy and mental health support that address barriers to accessing housing in the community and help build skills that participants can use to achieve and maintain stable functioning in the community. The program operates 24 hours per day, 365 days per year. The ETH Fresh Meadows Program is a specialized program site for individuals with chronic medical conditions, mental health diagnoses or history of substance use disorders and offers onsite case management, housing placement assistance, primary medical care and behavioral health services.The Senior Operations Manager for the ETH Fresh Meadows Program site provides centralized, administrative oversight of the program sites operation functions. This includes supervising other key operations team staff (such as the Operations Manager, Program Assistant and Residential Aid teams), manage key functions of the program sites budget, collaborate with the buildings management company to coordinate repairs and maintenance to ensure the overall environment meets the contract standards and is in compliance with city, state and federal standards, submit operations-related reports to senior leadership and develop and maintain relationships with local businesses, community leaders and local law enforcement agencies. - Provide direct supervision of the Operations Manager and Program Assistant and overall oversight and support for the
- Provide day-to-day oversight of all building and program operations activities.
- Collaborate with building management to report and coordinate building maintenance and repairs.
- Submit weekly, monthly and quarterly reports timely.
- Maintain accurate census and operations-related data.
- Proactively engage in activities to promote overall safety and well-being within the program site for staff and clients.
- Oversee the program sites budget and participate in fiscal management activities with senior leadership.
- Assist with the development, review and implementation of program policies and procedures.
- Facilitate team meetings.
- Assist talent management and recruitment activities.
- Facilitate and identify staff trainings.
- Ensure the program site meets internal and external compliance standards.
- Build and maintain relationships with local community members, businesses and law enforcement agencies.
- Attend interdisciplinary case conferences as needed or when applicable.
- Engage in crisis intervention as needed.
- Promotes Housing Works core values in day to day activities.
- Performs other tasks as assigned by supervisor
Secondary:
- Provide culturally competent services in accordance to Housing Works policies and practices.
- Ability to work with clients with diverse clients with varying levels of service needs.
- Work collaboratively with other team members within the Justice Initiatives Department and cross-agency.
Other functions that may be required with this position include:
- Available for emergencies or urgent matters after standard business hours of 9:00am to 5:00pm.
- Responsiveness to emails, texts and phone calls.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required in social services, psychology, social work or other related field.
The following are qualifications and requirements of the position:
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory or program administration experience.
- Experience with program or building management experience.
- Experience with criminal justice involved population, as well as substance use and mental health issues.
- Strong written documentation and communication skills
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously
- Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, required
- Experience utilizing EMR systems.
