About Our Client Due to significant growth, they are looking to expand their team and portfolio further. They currently have 14 people in their team but will be looking to build out multiple functions. Job Description The Senior Project Developer (Renewable Energy) will be responsible for:

• Lead project development of utility scale solar assets from site origination through financial close/start of construction.
• Site and permit facilities on agricultural land.
• Negotiate lease agreements and purchase option agreements
• Manage local community relationships through design and financing to secure additional support as needed for road use agreements, zoning support, and property tax incentives.
• Manage internal and external resources (engineering, finance, legal, environmental, etc) to successfully develop projects.
• Maintain an overview of the relevant business and competitive environment, including regulatory and environmental rules.

The Successful Applicant The Senior Project Developer (Renewable Energy) will have

• 4-6 years of experience in the development of renewable energy projects - preferably solar.
• Preference for someone with exposure to projects in MISO.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Environmental Science or related field
• Impressive track record and experience in development of renewable energy projects
• Previous applicable experience working in a commercial negotiation environment
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, multi-task, make decisions, prioritize, and meet assigned deadlines in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
• Strong interpersonal skills - able to work and communicate effectively with a cross-functional internal team, vendors, consultants, various project stakeholders, authorities having legal control, utilities, state agencies etc.
