Overview
ESI is seeking a talented Senior Project Manager to join our team in Kennesaw, GA. This position requires a Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Construction Management and ten years of experience in managing the design, engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning of steam and power generation facilities.
Senior Project Manager
Responsibilities:
- Overall project execution during the design, engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases of the project
- Development of the project execution plan and risk matrix
- Monitor project schedules and reports provided by the project controls team
- Monitor and report on project costs including direct costs (purchased goods and services) and indirect costs (internally generated costs), as well as variance and trend analysis
- Oversee engineering and design productivity
- Review project drawings and specifications to ensure adherence to contract requirements including customer specifications, quality, and constructability
- Oversee and manage design review and constructability review meetings
- Manage the procurement of all equipment for the project
- Maintain contract compliance from a technical and commercial standpoint
- Prepare subcontractor bid packages and manage the selection and contract process for all construction work
- Construction oversight including safety, quality, productivity, and cost management (Site CM team reports to PM)
- Commissioning, start-up, and performance testing oversight (Site COM team reports to PM)
- Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the duration of the project
- Travel to the project site as needed to ensure project success
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Construction Management
- PMP License
- Ten years of experience managing the design, engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning of Steam and Power Generation Plants
- Experience managing projects in the $50M-$100M range
- Experience managing power generation projects in the 30-100 MW range
- Specific experience working for an EPC Company involved in steam and power generation projects would be a PLUS
- PE License a PLUS
- Experience with Primavera P6 and Procore
- Experience with InEight Estimate and Performance is a PLUS
