Senior Project Manager, Design & Construction - International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO) : Job Details

Job SummaryResponsible for managing the Scope, Schedule & Budget for major capital construction projects. Projects range from $80-$120M and have significant impact on corporate financial and operational commitments. Assist in developing long range capital plans & forecasts as well as SME for each region related to new construction / renovation projects. Take the lead on new technology projects within Sysco and oversee their implementation (Electric Vehicle & Photovoltaic, alternate energy).RESPONSIBILITIES

Actively managing the scope, schedule & budget of assigned capital projects. Ensure capital projects are fully delivered within the assigned timeframe and budget. Provide notification to management if there will be a deviation from expectation and provide mitigation plans. Capital projects range from new builds to expansions and renovations.

Develop bid documents with Developers/General Contractors to execute Sysco capital projects while protecting the corporation's interest.

Mediate and resolve project conflicts. Define, negotiate, execute contractual obligations in support of Sysco Capital Projects.

Providing status reports to all project stakeholders, EAM leadership and ELT.

Developing all encompassing construction estimates for future capital projects to be incorporated into FY plan.

Assist EAM facilities with renovations and emergency work.Education Required:BS in Engineering / Construction / Related FieldEducation Preferred:MS or MBAExperience Required:15 years minimumExperience Preferred:20+Licenses/Certification Preferred:PE, PMP, LEED AP (BD&C)Technical Skills and Abilities:Ability to read and understand blueprints, contracts, engineering documents.Physical Demands:Reasonable accommodations will be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this job.
