TRC collaborates with clients to develop and implement market transforming programs and initiatives that promote energy efficiency, renewable energy, and green building in multiple market sectors across the US and around the world. These initiatives reduce energy costs, improve the health and safety conditions of buildings, while also helping the environment by reducing greenhouse gas emissions. TRC acts nationally to address some of our country's most challenging problems: global climate change and energy independence.TRC desires to hire a Sr Project Manager Staff Augmentee who will support the Residential Strategic Engagement Program Manager to advocate for NYSERDA's interests on statewide management committees with DPS, Utilities, and affordable housing agencies (New York State Clean Heat and statewide LMI Joint Management Committees).Responsibilities:Support the continuous improvement of existing programs in the multifamily sectorManage projects from initiation to completion; including scope, schedule and budgetsManage and develop relationships & increase coordination with key stakeholdersManage contractors and program support agreementsResolve issues which may arise regarding assigned projects with applicants or consultantsSupport the development of PONs and RFPsParticipate in a process to test, measure and adjust to maximize successAdvanced data analysis to support reporting, program improvement and new strategy developmentParticipate in the evaluation of program effectivenessOther duties as assigned to support the key outcomes for the Multifamily TeamQualifications:A Bachelor's degree, particularly in engineering, policy, public or business administration, architecture, real estate, urban planning, or a related field.Strong project management skills with the ability to successfully multi-task, set priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Skilled in managing scope, schedule, and budget of project agreements and other program support agreements.Ability to support strategic market engagement and partnership development.Experienced in facilitating and executing continuous improvement of program rules and business processes.Outstanding external and customer communication skills, both written and verbal.Strengths in coordinating with other departments to support projects and the development or refinement of strategies and processes.Must be a self-starter who functions well independently and in teams.Ability to synthesize information, including stakeholder feedback, white paper research, and policy documents.Ability to develop clear and compelling presentations.Program implementation experience, especially for programs that require installation/construction of clean energy technology or provide technical assistance for clean energy projects.Some knowledge of energy-consuming systems commonly found in multifamily buildings, including HVAC, lighting, and building envelopes.Some knowledge of energy conservation measures in deep retrofit energy efficiency projects for existing multifamily buildings (e.g., Passive House, heat pumps) is a plus.Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word), NEIS financial and contract management platform, Buildings Portal, and SharePoint.Knowledge of Salesforce is a plus.Preferred: Previous experience as a Project Manager or certification in Project Management (CAPM or PMP) and CEM or CEA.Benefits:TRC offers a competitive benefit package consisting of:Medical, dental, vision, and disability insurance.401k package that includes both traditional and Roth IRA options and Company match.Paid time off contingent upon full time or part time status and level of seniority (ranging from 15 to 25 days per year).All full-time employees enjoy a minimum of 8 Paid Holidays per year.TRC ensures that all employees, including those that work part-time, receive paid sick, family, and disability leave in accordance with the laws of their state of residence.Compensation:In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition.
