Position: Senior Project Manager

Salary: $120,000-$150,000

The Position:

The successful candidate for this position will be responsible for the direction, coordination, execution, and completion of high-level structural steel projects.

The Client:

An exciting opportunity has arisen to acquire a highly successful and internationally renowned steel construction company. Specializing in large-scale infrastructure, architectural projects, and complex steel structures, this business is a leader in its industry, with a strong global presence and a history of delivering landmark projects.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for a thorough understanding of each projects definition, scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Responsible for execution and improvement of project schedules, budgets, and technical performances
• May manage multiple projects in various stages of completion, depending upon size and complexity.
• Manage and coordinate all shop drawings, field drawings, and all other project details with general contractors, field personnel, and other involved parties.
• Select and manage cost-effective subcontractors and negotiate all project contracts.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of increasing responsibility in project management positions with a focus on large structural steel projects.
• Strong working knowledge of construction drawings and blueprints, with the ability to read design documents and specifications.
• Understanding of general construction contract and subcontract terminology.
