Are you the one?Footprint Development (FD) is a department within the New Product Introductions (NPI) function under SGRE Blades Operations. We are the first point of contact in NPI when it comes to supporting Operations Management's scenario planning process, exploring a new plant start-up, extending existing plants and preparing make-or-buy decisions for inhouse manufacturing vs. outsourcing.FD manages the footprint development programs with pre-activities before launching the execution project as well as the project execution, equipment installation and support during ramp-up of blade production. We have a large stake in the feasibility studies and business cases, including factory layouts, specifications, processes, headcounts, budgets, ramp-up plans, logistics and warehouse setup, cost-out initiatives and risk management.How to contribute to our visionAs our Senior Project Manager in FD, you will manage the major new plant projects (NPP) and plant extensions in the Blades global footprint. Your first mission will be a US-based factory extension and manufacturing startup, so longer stays in US is mandatory.As a senior manager, you will act as a mentor for the project managers in the NPI PMO and FD departments. Utilizing your experience and lessons learned from other NPP projects will help to increase the quality of project execution and better mitigate the project risks.
