Location: Lake Zurich, IL - Hybrid Setup - Onsite will be 3 days a week (Either Mon-Wed, or Tues-Thurs)
Work schedule: Mon-Friday, ~8-5PM
Job Description:
The Project Manager will serve as a contributing member within Transfusion Medicine and Cell Therapies division, focusing on the client Cell and Gene Therapy (C>) portfolio. The position reports to the Director of Product Management for C>.
We are seeking a skilled Technical Project Manager to lead the development and launch of an innovative system for the C> industry. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and a strategic mindset to ensure successful product development through market launch. The candidate will work closely with R&D, Commercial, and Regulatory as the primary project manager. This role demands strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, the ability to manage a complex project that spans across multiple functional groups, and to manage both internal and external stakeholders.
Required Skills:
Education Requirement:
Bachelors Degree. PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus
5-10 years experience in cell and gene therapies, biotechnology, medical devices, or equivalent combination of education and experience
3-5 years experience in a project management role, preferably in technical environment overseeing a product (device, lab equipment, or other instrumentation) development and launch
Outstanding organizational, project management, communication, and presentation skills
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage stakeholders, and drive project success in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and communication skills, with ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
Ability and willingness to travel
