Senior Project Manager - Consultis : Job Details

We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Senior Project Manager with a strong background in managing infrastructure projects and extensive experience in vendor management. This role requires a strategic thinker with technical expertise to lead complex projects, working closely with cross-functional teams and external vendors to deliver high-impact infrastructure solutions. Experience with Nutanix or other hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI) technologies is a plus. The ideal candidate will excel in navigating the challenges of large-scale projects, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives, and delivering results on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end planning and execution of IT infrastructure projects, including network upgrades, data center migrations, and security initiatives.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, budget, schedule, resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder communication strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including network engineers, system administrators, software developers, and external vendors, to ensure project objectives are met.
• Monitor project progress, identify and resolve issues, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and maintain clear, consistent communication with senior leadership, project sponsors, and team members.
• Ensure adherence to project management standards, methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall), and compliance requirements.
• Facilitate change management activities and coordinate training and support for end-users and operational teams.
• Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and implement continuous improvement practices.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience managing IT infrastructure projects, including at least 3 years in a senior project management role.
• PMP,or other relevant project management certification required.
• Experience working directly with external partners and ensuring alignment, timely delivery, and scope / change management. Technical Skills
• In-depth understanding of IT infrastructure components, including networking, servers, storage, virtualization, cloud platforms, and cybersecurity.
• Experience with project management tools like MS Project, Jira, or equivalent software.
• Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and IT service management practices is preferred.
• Exceptional leadership, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to independently lead project meetings and drive schedules and budgets.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs. Preferred Qualifications
