The ideal candidate will come with significant elevator industry knowledge and be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members.
Responsibilities
Perform various duties in the modernization department related to Engineering, Estimating, Sales and Project Management as follows:
- Perform surveys of existing elevators in preparation of issuing modernization proposals or submitting RFP's.
- Engineering surveys to assist ordering fixtures, door equipment, controllers, machines, etc.
- Preparation of job estimates
- Participate in project meetings with client including fixture and cab selections.
- Coordinate cab and fixture shop drawing approvals.
- Perform field inspections to evaluate non-conforming existing conditions and prepare change orders when necessary.
Qualifications
- Strong business acumen in project planning and management
- Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
- MUST have 5 plus years of Elevator Industry Experience
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or Engineering
