My client - an award winning design/build construction firm - is actively seeking a senior project manager to join their team. In this role you will be running their most prominent projects ($10m+), interfacing with repeat clients, and mentoring a team of mid-career PMs. My client believes in providing first class service to clients, while providing first class work/life balance to employees.

Description

  • Demonstrate proficiency in leading projects from sales, preconstruction, permitting, design, construction, to closeout, collaborating closely with in-house professionals.
  • Effectively manage all financial aspects of projects.
  • Support the Business Development team in client meetings and sales presentations.
  • Supervise junior team members in estimating and quantity take-offs.
  • Manage multiple projects primarily in a negotiated contract format, focusing on repeat and referred customers.
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Collaborate effectively with in-house architects, interior designers, and real estate professionals to deliver turn-key services.
  • Serve as a team leader within the organization.

Profile

  • Bachelors degree in construction/engineering related field
  • 10+ years in the construction industry
  • Estimating abilities
  • Client-facing abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of relevant construction technologies
  • Passion for building
