Uprite Construction is looking for a highly skilled Construction Senior Project Manager with extensive experience in managing ground-up and commercial construction projects. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong track record in overseeing complex projects from planning through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead and direct all phases of commercial construction projects, with a primary focus on tenant improvements and ground-up builds.
  • Develop, monitor, and update comprehensive project schedules, budgets, and resource plans to ensure efficient use of time and materials.
  • Collaborate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to align project objectives with client expectations.
  • Interpret and evaluate blueprints, plans, and technical drawings to ensure adherence to project specifications.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors, optimizing costs and securing favorable terms.
  • Enforce compliance with all safety standards, regulatory requirements, and building codes.
  • Continuously monitor project milestones and adjust plans proactively to maintain timelines and budgetary constraints.
  • Prepare and deliver detailed project reports, status updates, and presentations to stakeholders.
  • Resolve project-related challenges and conflicts promptly, ensuring minimal impact on project timelines.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

What You'll Bring:

  • Minimum 8-10 years of progressive experience in construction project management, specifically in commercial construction and tenant improvements.
  • Proven expertise in navigating and applying California State building codes and construction regulations.
  • Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, PlanGrid) and the MS Office Suite.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage diverse teams and drive project success.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, particularly in high-pressure environments and under tight deadlines.
  • Extensive experience in successfully managing complex tenant improvement projects in commercial settings.
