Job Description:

General tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • Strategic operations: Develops and oversees strategies and project plans to implement Steering Committee system-wide provider recruitment vision
  • Hiring Process: Partners with service chiefs to understand staffing needs/vacancies, establish and implement recruitment goals
  • Affiliate Collaboration: Ensures appropriate H+H branding, hands off and tracks candidates, communicates about vacancies and urgent staffing needs
  • Marketing: Works with PAGNY to develops and implements targeted recruitment campaigns to reach potential candidates
  • Funding & Financial Management: Ensures availability of adequate funds for activities and expenses related to recruiting providers; tracks expenses, adherence to budget, and ensures invoices are paid on time
  • Supervision: Works closely with PAGNY to manages and provide oversight to the designated Talent Acquisition Specialist if applicable
  • Liaison to Finance, Subspecialties and Affiliates: Centralizes, distills and tracks information to inform strategy and implementation
  • Stakeholder Management: Manages relationships with and reporting to Steering Committee and Executive-level stakeholders
  • Perform other duties as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university in Business or Public Administration, Healthcare Management, Engineering, Social Sciences, Physical Sciences or related discipline; and

2. Six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in project and program management, execution, and implementation, three (3) years of which must have been in the administration, management and/or execution of projects and programs of various complexities, including work in health care program planning,

research, design or related area; or

3. Certification in Project Management (e.g., Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, Program Management Professional (PgMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)) and four (4) years of experience as described in #2 above, two (2) years of which must have been in the administration, management and/or execution of projects and programs of various complexities, including work in health care program planning, research, design or related area.

Department Preferences

  • Graduate degree (HR, MPA, MPH or MBA)
  • 10 years experience in HR, healthcare, project management, or related field
  • Experience with large-scale project management and budgeting
