This role will be responsible for launching a new office in the Syracuse Metropolitan Service Area, supporting all Divisions here at MJ. This leadership role is critical to driving our initiatives that align with the company's growth objectives and environmental commitments while leveraging innovative technologies and sustainable practices. The Senior Project Manager will collaborate with the team regarding strategic planning, team recruitment, productivity, quality control and assurance, business development, client satisfaction, staff career development, and financial management for projects within the Syracuse Metropolitan Service Area. Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, presenting technical solutions, maintaining relationships, and driving business development for new and existing clients.
• Lead and Mentor a team of multidisciplinary engineers fostering professional growth.
• Work with the Division Director to contribute to setting the growth strategies and initiatives, while continuously enhancing the site/civil practice by staying informed on industry trends, advancements, and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• New York PE Required.
• Minimum 15 years' experience in the consulting industry.
• Business Development experience required.
• Public presentation experience.
• In-depth knowledge of State and Local site design standards and regulations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to effectively participate as part of a project team, develop and maintain client relations, and meet project demands and schedules.
