About the Role:
An innovative architecture studio in Los Angeles is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead medium to large-scale commercial interior and tenant improvement projects. As the Senior Project Manager, you will take charge of overseeing all stages of project development, from initial design through to construction and final handover. Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the planning, design, and execution of commercial interior and tenant improvement projects
• Collaborate with project teams, clients, and contractors to ensure project goals are achieved on time and within budget
• Manage the preparation and review of project documentation, including contracts, cost estimates, and schedules
• Facilitate effective communication between design teams, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure project success
• Lead project teams in the development of innovative design solutions that align with client needs
• Mentor and guide junior staff, promoting a culture of learning and collaboration within the team
• Represent the firm positively in client interactions and support business development efforts by identifying new opportunities
Key Skills/Requirements:
• 10+ years of experience in architecture or interior design with a focus on project management
• A degree in architecture, interior design, or a related field
• Extensive knowledge of interior design, construction processes, and project management techniques
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proven ability to manage budgets, contracts, and schedules
• Proficiency with industry-standard design and project management tools
