Position Description:E-J Electric Installation Co. is seeking an organized and creative Senior Proposal Administrative who thrives on delivering compelling proposals for E-J's clients. In this role, you will play a critical role in helping E-J win new business.Your primary focus will be to manage, write, and produce responses to client Request for Proposals (RFP) and other marketing materials. You will interact regularly with subject matter experts across professional services and be responsible for ensuring the proposal is complete, accurate, and timely.Within the structured proposal process, you will demonstrate creativity and latitude and see opportunities where others see challenges. You will create persuasive proposals and presentations with the support of the Proposal Manager to best deliver the why to our clients.
Responsibilities:- Work collaboratively with technical team members to manage proposal submissions from RFP to final submission, with the support of the Proposal Manager.
- Write non-technical proposal sections and edit technical writing according to APA guidelines.
- Lead the organized collection, vetting, storage, and maintenance of marketing information (including resumes, headshots, project information, project photography, etc.).
- Develop and coordinate proposal graphics.
- Assist with storyboarding and message development for strategic pursuits.
Qualifications:- Minimum of 10 years' experience in writing and managing proposals or sales/marketing communications.
- Advanced Microsoft Office Suite user.
- Intermediate Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, user.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to work on tight deadlines. Must be proactive, organized, and resourceful, with the ability to balance multiple priorities.
- High level of written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Four-year business or technical degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in the construction and/or engineering industry with a similar high-volume environment.
- Location flexible, New York preferred.
