This role will collaborate closely with hiring managers and leadership to design effective recruitment strategies, attract top talent, and ensure a seamless hiring process. As a key member of the Talent Acquisition team, the Senior Recruiter will help scale the workforce, enhance the candidate experience, and contribute to building a high-performance culture.This is a contract role with the potential to transition to a permanent position after six months, based on performance and company needs. The role will report to the Head of Finance and Business Operations.Key Responsibilities
- Full-Cycle Recruiting: Handle every aspect of the recruiting process, from crafting job descriptions to sourcing, screening, interviewing, and extending offers.
- Sourcing: Actively identify and engage top talent through channels such as LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, networking, and creative sourcing techniques.
- Screening: Conduct initial interviews to assess candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit, ensuring only qualified candidates progress.
- Recruiting Coordination: Manage logistics for interviews, ensuring an efficient and professional experience for both candidates and interviewers.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, define hiring processes, and provide guidance on best practices.
- Candidate Experience: Deliver a best-in-class experience for candidates, ensuring clear communication and timely updates throughout the process.
- Closing Offers: Lead offer negotiations, aligning with salary guidelines and company compensation strategy, and ensure smooth candidate transitions.
- ATS Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and track recruitment metrics.
- Metrics Reporting: Track and report key metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and candidate quality, providing regular updates to leadership.
- Market Insights: Provide data-driven recommendations based on market trends, talent availability, and salary benchmarking.
- Champion Diversity: Build strong, diverse talent pipelines by sourcing passive candidates and engaging with inbound applicants.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize the recruiting process and scale operations effectively.
Key Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a full-cycle recruiter with a strong emphasis on technical roles (e.g., engineering, data science, and product).
- Experience managing recruiting coordination tasks and ensuring a seamless process for candidates and stakeholders.
- Strong sourcing skills and the ability to creatively engage passive candidates.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (e.g. Greenhouse, Ashby), sourcing tools (e.g. LinkedIn Recruiter), and executive reporting tools (e.g. Google Sheets, Slides).
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Preferred
- Experience working independently in a startup or high-growth environment.
- Familiarity with hiring for additional non-technical roles (e.g., marketing, operations).
- Knowledge of current recruiting trends and best practices in tech hiring.
