Senior Recruiter – Manufacturing Industry

As a Senior Recruiter, you will play a critical role in driving the recruitment process for both exempt and non-exempt positions across multiple manufacturing plants. This role requires strategic thinking, exceptional communication skills, and a strong ability to build relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
Essential Job Functions
- Act as the primary owner of all salaried exempt/non-exempt recruiting efforts, collaborating with hiring managers to fill roles with top-tier talent.
- Partner with Plant HR Managers and Plant Operations Managers to meet staffing goals for multiple manufacturing sites.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for plant-based recruiting.
- Develop and implement recruiting strategies focusing on data analytics, quality, diversity, and process efficiency.
- Create, monitor, and analyze recruitment metrics to assess effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Champion the company's mission and culture by effectively communicating the organization's story and values to candidates.
- Conduct initial phone screens, informational interviews, and in-office interviews while overseeing candidates throughout the interview process.
- Ensure hiring managers deliver an exceptional candidate experience.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Team to build and promote a strong employer brand.
- Attend networking events, meet-ups, and campus recruitment activities to attract top talent.
- Leverage innovative sourcing methods to engage high-caliber candidates, including hard-to-fill roles.
- Solicit referrals from internal team members and external connections.
- Identify and integrate new recruitment tools and technologies to optimize processes.
- Stay informed on industry trends and best practices, incorporating them into the recruitment strategy.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of recruiting experience focused on manufacturing and plant-based roles, or agency recruiting for technical talent.
- Proven ability to manage multiple searches across diverse locations and functions.
- Experience building and executing recruitment strategies.
- Strong knowledge and enthusiasm for technical discussions in manufacturing environments.
- Expertise in creative sourcing methods and delivering results for hard-to-fill roles.
- Exceptional written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Highly organized and capable of managing shifting priorities and schedules.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Preferred: SHRM certifications.
