Position Summary

VP level, Senior Red Team Operator

Full-time, direct hire

Mostly remote working, ideally the candidate would be based near Washington DC.

Up to $190k base salary

Our client is growing their relatively new Red Team function in the US. This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape the Red Team function and the wider offensive security strategy.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in offensive security, who is a highly technical individual and who has demonstrable experience as a hands-on Red Team Operator.

Required Experience & Skills

• 10 years overall IT experience with the last 5 years focusing on offensive security.
• 5 years' experience as a Red Team Engineer / Red Team Operator.
• Advanced understanding of networking protocols, Microsoft operating systems and cloud environments ideally Azure.
• Recent experience using BloodHound or a similar tool.
• Proven experience leading and executing long-term Red Team engagements.
• Experience using industry standard tools such as Metasploit, Burp Suite etc.
• Proficiency in developing Python & PowerShell scripts.
• Experience working with DevOps technologies such as Azure DevOps, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to think creatively.
• Excellent communication skills - must be able to work with stakeholders of different levels and different disciplines.
• OSCP or similar certification.
• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
