As a Senior Research Associate, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing HPLC methods, conducting qualitative and quantitative analyses, and supporting various research and development projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including chemistry, biology, and quality control, to ensure the integrity and accuracy of experimental results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and advanced HPLC analysis to support research and development activities.
- Develop, validate, and optimize HPLC methods for analyzing complex samples.
- Troubleshoot and maintain HPLC instruments and associated software.
- Prepare, analyze, and interpret data to ensure high-quality results.
- Collaborate with research scientists to support experimental design and project goals.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all regulatory and quality standards (e.g., GLP, GMP).
- Train and mentor junior staff on HPLC techniques and best practices.
- Assist with writing reports, protocols, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related scientific field.
- 3-5+ years of hands-on experience with HPLC in a research, pharmaceutical, or biotech setting.
- Strong expertise in method development, validation, and troubleshooting HPLC systems.
- Experience working with different types of detectors (e.g., UV, fluorescence, MS).
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements (GLP, GMP) and industry-standard guidelines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
