FRANdata is looking for a Senior Research Analyst to join our fast-paced and growing market research, insights, and consulting firm.

FRANdata has more than 30+ years of expertise in researching the franchising business model and providing insights to help our clients operate and succeed. These clients cover the entire spectrum from start-up companies to well-known global brands that have been franchising or serving the franchise vertical for decades.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and lead market research projects for a wide range of business clients all operating in and around the franchising marketplace
  • Conduct primary and secondary research to answer strategic, operational, marketing and due diligence questions for business clients
  • Delegate tasks, train and support Research Analysts and Associate Analysts
  • Present findings and recommendations to C-suite, operations and marketing clients
  • Develop new business relationships, scope and propose solutions for clients
  • Help grow FRANdata with new client opportunities, new products and marketing ideas
  • Publish articles and social media content; respond to media inquiries; attend events and conferences
  • Contribute to industry thought leadership on performance standards and best practices

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years' experience as a researcher or consultant
  • Master's degree in business, finance, statistics, mathematics, marketing, research or related
  • Mastery of Excel and the MS Office Suite of tools
  • Basic understanding of database concepts
  • Experience using visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in conducting quantitative and qualitative research and analysis (data analysis, surveys, interviews)
  • Must be an articulate communicator with strong oral and written communication skills
  • Must be able to work 2 days in person at the Arlington office every week.
