Overview We are seeking a strategic and analytical Senior Retail Replenishment Manager to join our team. This pivotal role will lead our initiatives to optimize inventory management across retail stores and our e-commerce platform. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional analytical capabilities, strategic thinking, and a strong track record of implementing innovative systems that drive operational excellence. Key responsibilities include replenishing stores, analyzing sales and inventory data, developing and implementing inventory optimization strategies, monitoring performance metrics, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop a strategic roadmap for elevating our replenishment and allocation capabilities.The Senior Retail Replenishment Manager will ensure the right inventory is available in the right place at the right time while maximizing inventory efficiency and aligning with sales forecasts. This role requires a deep understanding of inventory dynamics, advanced forecasting techniques, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Lead the analysis and forecasting of sales, inventory levels, and distribution strategies for retail and e-commerce operations.
- Utilize advanced analytics to interpret POS, inventory, and shipment data, making strategic decisions that enhance replenishment effectiveness at the store level.
- Spearhead the implementation of innovative replenishment systems and tools, ensuring seamless integration that improves operational processes and inventory accuracy.
- Develop and execute strategies for optimizing distribution processes, including parameter optimization, safety stock management, and weeks of supply calculations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for replenishment system implementations, guiding teams through change management to ensure successful adoption and utilization.
- Support technology roadmap assessments to evaluate and implement cutting-edge solutions that enhance replenishment efficiency and drive continuous improvement.
- Oversee testing, tuning, and parameter optimization for replenishment and allocation, establishing best practices that promote data-driven decision-making.
- Act as a subject matter expert on replenishment and store-level forecasting, providing leadership and mentorship to cross-functional teams to facilitate system enhancements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to refine inventory management practices and optimize stock flow across all channels.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics, reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as in-stock rates, excess inventory, and overall inventory health.
- Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including buying teams, product merchants, and distribution centers, to align inventory strategies with business goals.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience within Planning required.
- Proven experience in a senior replenishment or inventory management role, with a focus on driving strategic initiatives and system implementations.
- Deep understanding of inventory metrics, forecasting methodologies, and replenishment strategies.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of using data to drive decisions and improve processes.
- Proficiency in advanced data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, Logility, Sigma).
- Demonstrated experience in implementing and optimizing replenishment and allocation systems to enhance operational efficiency.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple strategic projects simultaneously.
