Senior SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) Business Systems Analyst to join our growing team. You must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, be detail oriented, able to work in a team environment and independently, and have the ability to solve complex problems.
- Focus on SAP Global Trades Services Solutions - part of Client large ERP program and tool they use to screen sanction party lists they deal with daily.

- Directly involved with production support/enhancements (only 20%)
- Roadmap to upgrade the GTS from current platform- Enterprise 4/Hana- involved in this program from start to finish- new version released in 2021 (this is a plus)- will start in November- early December- through production in May or June 2024
- Daily standups- with all team members
- Responding to incidents/enhancement request via ServiceNow solutions
- Configuration of GTS- interacts with other modules of SAP
- MS Dynamics 365- this role is the lead role from that space-
- Conversion potential after 6 months
- This will primary Client representative for prep/req gathering , work with partner role from SAP - 2 in the box model SAP is the implementation partner for broader SAP model
- 80% requirement gathering; 20% enhancements/production support
- Number of enhancements within Client functionally would be limited however since GTS is integration with S4Hana- expansion of business, other regions- will need additional configuration within GTS- will need support
Responsibilities • Act as a primary IT Senior Business Analyst supporting our Global Trade Programs organization and the related software that enables Trade Compliance and Reporting • Formulate and define systems scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with a good understanding of business systems, industry requirements, and available IT solutions. • Support, tests and enhance moderately complex to complex information systems and develops adequate error management functionality within assigned applications. • Take ownership of support activities for assigned applications and assure secondary resources are defined and are well trained and competent to support the application. • Analyze business and user needs, document requirements/user stories, and manage and/or develops enhancements. • Collaborate with Quality Assurance Analysts to develop test plans, test cases, perform functional testing and assure proper user acceptance testing of completed projects. • Provide new user training on supported applications as requested. • Quantify business benefits to be delivered by the project or enhancement. • Tracking of problems, request & suggestions for assigned applications. • Guide business customers through business case development for new applications/functionality, including cost/benefit analysis and risk/impact analysis. • Identify process efficiencies, recommend innovative uses of software functionality, design, implement solutions and train end-users. • Providing guidance or leadership to less experienced team members • Work with Business Relationship Mangers (BRM) to develop and maintain BU specific application roadmaps • Guide business customers through business case development for new applications/functionality, including cost / benefit analysis and risk / impact analysis. • Provide Security role creation and modification as defined and requested by IT / SAP Security Teams • Assists Security Account Management Team with access provisioning activities. Minimum Qualifications (required) • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field (or equivalent years of training, work experience and education) • 7+ years of Business Analyst experience including: o
5+ years of SAP-GTS business systems analysis experience o
Completed 2 full-cycle implementation projects of GTS o Strong hands-on Configuration skills in GTS o Direct experience supporting
GTS Import and Export Management o Direct experience with managing
Sanctioned Party Lists for screening through GTS o Experience with Business process definition, requirements definition, and development and support of integrated business applications o
