ResponsibilitiesThis full-time architect position will be responsible for advancing Keysight Labs' operating system implementations. Across all Keysight products, the operating system is a common thread with the responsibility for meeting security and software standards and delivering features that expand Keysight's technical leadership across all instrument types.
You will be a key technical decision-maker in the Research & Development department who reduces broad concepts and business strategies into structured projects that may span more than one product or technology family, and solves complex, high impact product design and development problems. You will work closely with other functional areas such as Marketing, R&D, Technical Support, Quality Assurance, Learning Products, etc., within our business unit as well as across other Keysight business groups, to understand the customer's design flow, and to provide whole-product solutions.
You will investigate new technologies, such as processor design improvements, open-source operating system implementations, and high speed/memory improvements. Conduct design reviews, usability testing and customer visits to validate requirements. Collaborate with other software/solution architects to form holistic solutions across the board. Mentor and consult other individual engineers. Promote best practices in software engineering such as test-driven development, up-front design, code review, unit testing, etc. in our Agile Development Framework.

Most offers will be between the minimum and the midpoint of the Salary Range listed below.
Loveland, CO pay range: MIN $128,670- MAX $214,440
Note: For other locations, pay ranges will vary by region.
