General Description: The Sr. Software Engineer operates in the web and client/server development sphere within the Information Technology department and is part of a technical team of network engineers, host programmers, client/server programmers, and business analysts. The candidate will utilize their experience with web, client/server development tools and architecture.
Responsibilities:
Architect software solutions and platforms to solve complex business processes.Provide thought leadership to a team of highly skilled and agile engineers.Improve operations by conducting systems analysis; define and develop short-term and long-term software development processes.Train and help other engineers with technical and non-technical matters.Provide effective application support to the business stakeholders via training, triaging, root cause analysis, and advice on long-term solutions.Document and demonstrate solutions by developing specifications and prototypes, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, code comments, and clear code.Work with the user community to develop specifications, provide support, and training.Analyze complex business and technical processes to create new or updated processing systems.Be a member of the development team focused on the delivery of new or existing technical solutions.Be responsible for either performing or coordinating all steps in the development life cycle.Skills:
C#, .NETExpert knowledge in ASP.NET, .NET Core, C#Strong knowledge of MS SQL Server, TSQLProficient in designing and developing databases, stored procs, views, queries.Experience with Jenkins (Nice to have).Experience of working with AWSKnowledge of Salesforce CRMContent Management SystemDocument Management SystemsEnterprise Integration and/or ETL tools (RAP, Boomi, etc.)Experience with SAP S4/HanaExperience with MS Power Apps, Power Automate, and PowerBIAdditional Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum of BA/BS in Computer Science or SimilarMinimum of 8 years of experience in Software EngineeringMinimum of 3 years of experience maintaining and administrating SharePoint On-Prem and SharePoint OnlineSDLC – Designing, Building, deploying, and maintaining active web applications using IIS, TFS, Jenkins, AWS DevOps or equivalent.Excellent writing and verbal communication skillsAbility to lead and collaborate with others.Strong problem-solving and time management skills.Experience Level: Expert Level
