Senior Software Engineer - Infor : Job Details

Duties: Position will build, design, develop and support Infor's software hosted solutions; work with Products and Professional Services teams to translate business requirements into short-term solutions and long term products; maintain and enhance existing GT Nexus software products; analyze and tune performance of GT Nexus applications; work on software applications used for Supply chain management and ERP based on cloud; monitor and design Infors software programs to improve performance; analyze project data to determine specifications or requirements; collaborate with others to determine design specifications or details; develop and implement project software; provide technical support for software maintenance or use; and, document technical specifications or requirements in order to develop technical solutions for Infors software systems. Telecommuting permitted up to 100%.Requirements: Bachelors degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; and five (5) years of progressive related post-baccalaureate work experience in the job offered, or in a Senior Software Engineer-related occupation. Position also requires demonstrable experience with the following:Demonstrable proficiency in Java and J2EE technologies, JSP and Eclipse to code and develop web based software;Demonstrable proficiency in Linux and/or Unix-like operating systems to view logs and run software;Demonstrable knowledge of HTML and Javascript/CSS to write front end code and to develop web based software;Demonstrable proficiency in SQL and RDBMS tools like SQL Server and Oracle to create query statements that run backend software; Demonstrable knowledge of serialization using XML and Json; and,Demonstrable knowledge of version control tools such as Git or similar.Telecommuting permitted up to 100%.How to apply: E-mail resume, referencing IN1027, including job history, to careersinfor.com.
