Senior Software Engineer, Machine Learning

Location: Hybrid NYC

Salary: 200k-235K base + equity + benefits

A growing startup dedicated to addressing identity risk for organizations in the financial sector is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their Machine Learning team. The company helps businesses combat fraud and manage credit and compliance risks, making a significant impact in the industry.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, reliable batch and real-time systems for machine learning models.
• Collaborate with teams to integrate relevant data into our systems.
• Build seamless connections between machine learning models and the Alloy application.
• Optimize machine learning systems for low latency and high availability.
• Work with Product, Engineering, and Data Science teams to develop algorithms.
• Ensure clean interfaces and robust, well-tested systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Computer Science
• Experience deploying machine learning models to external facing applications.
• Experience deploying to production, including best SDLC practices, CI/CD and IaC.
• Experience with streaming technologies such as Kafka, Kinesis, Flink, or Spark.
• At least 5 years of production-level coding experience, including 2+ years building product features with machine learning for user-facing applications.
