Senior Software Test Engineer - Hyper Recruitment Solutions : Job Details

We are currently looking for a Software Tester to join a leading diagnostics company based in Sacramento, California, United States. As the Software Tester, you will be responsible for the verification of software data elements for antimicrobial assays and consumable diagnostic products as they are implemented into clinical software.KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Your duties as the Software Tester will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows: 1. Work closely with Development Science associates, software engineers, and subject matter experts to develop well-designed test protocols thoroughly covering the scope of software/data requirements. 2. Set up and configure computers and instruments to execute test protocols, capturing test results and confirming product and data requirements to help ensure the development and release of new/updated antimicrobial assays in the software product. 3. Collaborate with data scientists, biostatisticians, microbiologists, and other stakeholders to verify and validate various data processing tools. 4. Build upon prior testing modules, procedures, and protocols to develop updated test activities. Use previous and current approaches to find and recommend more streamlined and automated testing approaches.ROLE REQUIREMENTS: To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Software Tester, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history: 1. Relevant degree in computer science, biological sciences, chemistry, software engineering, or data science. 2. Proven industry experience in software verification testing of customer products, particularly in a medical device industry. 3.
