This is the program authorized by the Javits-Wagner-O'Day Act to increase employment and training opportunities for persons who are blind or have other severe disabilities through federal government purchasing of commodities and services from nonprofit agencies employing these persons. Our customers are primarily federal government agencies like the Department of Defense, GSA, and Civilian Agencies.This position helps connect our network of over 575 Non-Profit agencies with federal procurement opportunities across the United States! Our network of Non-Profit Agencies (NPAs) perform service and product contracts mainly for Federal agencies and help employ over 33,000+ people with disabilities nationally .Due to the job requirements - Ideal candidates would be based in the following states: Arizona, New Mexico, California, Nevada, Washington State, Idaho, Oregon, and Virginia.What You Will Do ...As a Senior Specialist - Account and Pricing, your work functions will include but are not limited to the following. A full position description will be given to candidates at the time of the interview.Provide account or pricing management support of AbilityOne program-related federal contractsProvide support regarding AbilityOne Program, pricing, FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations), Procurement List maintenance and relationship management.Provide customer service to key stakeholders such as federal agencies and non-profit agencies.Responsible for developing, analyzing, and coordinating the pricing data for Fair Market Pricing actions.Develop and validate price proposals using Excel spreadsheets to ensure accuracy of costing elements, costing principles, and solicitation requirements.Other responsibilities will be assigned as organizational needs arise.Salary RangeThe salary for this position falls in a range between $75,000 - $90,000 depending on your experience and geographic location in the United States.What You Must Have ...Associate's degree in a relevant field of study from an accredited institution instead of applicable skills training. SourceAmerica recognizes 1.5 years of experience = 1 year of college, should the candidate not meet the educational requirement.2 years of relevant work experience in customer service, account management, and contract management.Experience with price analysis and developing price proposals.Proficient in developing, reviewing, and validating pricing using Excel spreadsheets.Preferred QualificationsBachelor's Degree in a relevant field of study from an accredited institution.5 plus years of relevant work experience with federal contracting, federal billing, federal procurement process, federal supply schedule, customer support, account management or similar.Ability to effectively collaborate with individuals and teams across a 400+ organization with a national footprint.Proficiency in MS Office including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and WordProficient user experience with an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system SourceAmerica uses Microsoft Dynamics 365 as its business application system.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain relationshipsStrong organizational and project management skillsCapable of working independently and solving problems under time pressureFlexible schedule and some travel required during certain time periodsCommitment to fulfilling SourceAmerica's mission, vision, and valuesAdherence to SourceAmerica's Code of Conduct.We use Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) as our primary business application system for much of our office processes— experience with D365 or using similar methods is preferred.Work EnvironmentOur organization offers both a hybrid work model—where employees work in our office two to three days per week and work from home the balance of the workweek—as well as a fully remote work model, depending on the job requirements.
