Senior Specialist, Systems Engineering - L3Harris Technologies : Job Details

We are seeking a Senior Specialist, Systems Engineering for our West Palm Beach, FL office. This position will support the RL10 rocket program, reporting to the Sr. Manager, Systems Engineering Analysis, Verification and Product Support. Essential Functions: Performs systems engineering assignments requiring a wide application of advanced principles, theories and concepts in the field plus full knowledge of other related disciplines. Assists chief engineer with team coordination and planning, interfacing with program management and customers. Provide leadership and discipline direction to less experienced engineers on team. Working under consultative direction towards predetermined long-range goals and objectives, the incumbent determines and pursues course of action necessary to obtain required results. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. Preferred Additional Skills: Advanced degree desirable. Experience in writing technical publications and aerospace hardware processing/integration is desirable. Demonstrated leadership competency and solid communication skills, both verbal and written are required. LI-AT4
