The Senior Specialist, Talent Acquisition will focus primarily on leading Senior Level recruitment with flexibility to support other professional level recruitment as needed. This position requires demonstrated experience managing senior level searches and confidence influencing hiring leaders.At Ford, our Professional+ TA Recruiters are trusted, strategic business partners who are embedded in the businesses they support. This position involves partnering with senior leaders and the Human Resources, Talent Acquisition & Onboarding teams to execute full cycle senior leadership searches and ensure a white glove experience for candidates and internal customers. In this role you will align with skill teams to bring your functional and industry knowledge as well as specific recruiting expertise. Through excellence, focus and collaboration you will lend your experience to creating candidate and client experiences that will allow Ford to gain the talent needed to drive the Ford+ plan. This is an opportunity to be transformational and drive change while focusing on recruitment of world class talent.What you'll do...Support development and execution of an active and passive senior leadership recruiting strategy for defined business unit/skill team.Collaborate with partners to understand Ford's current talent strategy and identify leadership talent gaps.Oversee active senior leader searches.Partner with HR and Hiring Executives to build candidate profiles and search strategies.Proactively source and build future talent pipelines.Prepare candidate slate presentations to HR & Hiring Managers.Negotiate offers with candidates.Analyze data and make data-driven decisions, including understanding how to leverage assessments to make hiring decisions.Support the succession planning process and related employee development programs.Prioritize customer experience by doing what matters most.Complete special projects as needed and lend your expertise in one or more areas of specialization (sourcing, recruitment process, etc.).Be intellectually curious, continuously learning about the Ford business, our competitors, and the markets we work in to allow you to tell the Ford “story” to engage with passive candidates.Be a good team member and corporate citizen. Work collaboratively with other Talent Acquisition colleagues and the business to solve together.You'll have...Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.10+ years demonstrated success attracting and recruiting senior level talent.3+ years experience recruiting for senior leadership roles.Even better, you may have...A high level of discretion and trustworthiness in handling confidential information.Ability to build a strong network of diverse senior talent.Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.Resourcefulness, creativity, intellectual curiosity, and self-motivation.Diverse industry experience inclusive of software, advanced manufacturing, technology, digital or customer experience.Experience recruiting in an environment transitioning from hardware to software or software to services is a plus.Highly collaborative working style and proven history building relationships with and influencing senior level talent.This description outlines the general nature and scope of work typically performed in this job.
