Senior Staff Accountant - Watsco : Job Details

Job Description The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing a range of financial procedures for the region, including the preparation of financial statements, managing accounts and tax returns, and ensuring CE's financial operations run smoothly. Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure timely, accurate month-end closing and financial reporting to Management.
• Analyze financial information to identify trends, financial risks, and opportunities.
• Coordinate with external auditors and manage internal controls.
• Ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulations.
• Significant participation and leadership of month end closing functions.
• Identify and manage projects to drive improvements.
• Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting or finance role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting and financial procedures.
• Understanding of data analysis and forecasting.
• Experience in OneStream and ERP systems.
• Previous experience in publicly traded companies highly desired.
