Senior Strategic Buyer - LANXESS AG : Job Details

The successful candidate will play a key role in creating a competitive advantage and minimizing risk for LANXESS through the strategic sourcing of Technical Procurement. This role requires close collaboration with business units and group functions to drive cost savings and operational efficiency. Key responsibilities include: Partner with business units and group functions to develop and implement strategic initiatives that lead to significant cost reductions. Analyze company-wide spend data to identify sourcing opportunities that benefit internal stakeholders. Develop and recommend short- and long-term procurement strategies regionally or globally. Coordinate with global category procurement and site procurement teams to identify and leverage sourcing synergies. Gain a deep understanding of business unit (BU) or group function (GF) requirements to negotiate effective contract terms, pricing, and conditions.
