• Supervise structural analyses, design and detailing of bridges
• Design and detail the rehabilitation of bridges
• Direct the preparation of contract plans
• Visit project sites that may be under construction to collect information
• Write or assist in the writing of reports, specifications, and correspondence
• Review and respond to contractor submittals such as working drawings and RFIs.
• Interact with clients and contractors.
• Market the firm's services
• Assist with preparing proposals

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering and 15+ years of experience with a concentration in Structural Engineering
• PE License in NY, NJ, and/or PA or the ability to obtain licensure within six months
• Ability to learn company policies, procedures, and relevant software quickly. Gain an understanding of the company's service offerings and the client's standards and procedures relevant to your projects.

• Familiarity with MicroStation and/or Autocadd
• Familiarity with structural design and analysis software such as CSiBridge, Midar
• Working knowledge of NJDOT, PennDOT or any NY Agency standards is a plus
• Organized, determined, with the ability to multitask and prioritize competing project demands.
• Master's degree or PHD in Structural Engineering
• Experience in:
  • Steel and concrete repairs/rehabs
  • Structural Analysis, design and detailing
  • Bridge Inspection experience
  • Structural design of staged construction
  • Finite Element analysis experience

Positions are available in all Arora office locations in NY, NJ, PA and Illinois.

The approximate compensation range is $135,200 – $176,800 per year. Compensation is dependent upon factors such as education, qualifications, experience, skillset, and physical work location.
