About the Role: We are looking for a Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Supply Chain Analyst (FP&A) to join the Gore Medical finance team. In this role, you will lead the supply chain finances of our upstream manufacturing supply & shared services, as well as the development of reports, analysis and business models and will partner with both Business and Functional Associates within Cost of Goods Sold to drive process improvement & alignment across Supply Chain. This is a remote position, and you can work from home in most locations within the United States. Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the continued development of budgeting, financial forecasting, capital plan and modeling tools while continuously evaluating processes to drive efficiencies
- Lead and own financial support for our upstream manufacturing supply & shared services
- Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance
- Strive to meet or exceed business needs relating to quality, delivery, and cost, including ensuring continuity of supply and cost management
- Support and advise critical initiatives and contract negotiations that drive long-term relationship stability and success
- Support Capital and Headcount planning for manufacturing expansion, Green Field projects, including auditing projects for compliance to ensure all financial aspects of a project are in accordance with established policies and procedures, including proper approvals, funding sources and capitalization of expenses
- Define and present opportunities to improve both fixed and variable cost exist and influence organization to implement savings requiring a deep understanding of cost composition
- Partner in the S&OP process to achieve corporate cash flow objectives related to inventory and driving programs to manage efficiently inventory levels
- Support the delivery of comprehensive monthly reporting packages for management, including monthly reviews of budget vs. actual results and variances with P&L/cost center owner, etc
- Perform strategic ad hoc reporting and financial analysis to assess business performance and facilitate decision-making and business support
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or other related field
- Minimum of 3 years of Finance, Business analysis and Business partnering experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of Accounting concepts (GAAP and/or IFRS) within Supply Chain Finance
- Demonstrated range of knowledge across supply chain and manufacturing technologies, manufacturing under current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Quality Systems and regulatory requirements
- Demonstrated track record of effective leadership in a manufacturing, fulfillment or contract manufacturing setting, including issue resolution, and building win-win solutions
- Demonstrated financial acumen, including cost management; demonstrated experience managing department Capital and Operating Expense budgets
- Demonstrated communication skills (oral, written, and interpersonal) and the ability to proactively identify and recommend solutions to problems
- Demonstrated organizational, communication, and time management skills needed to manage multiple ongoing projects simultaneously
- Ability to communicate problems in terms that are understandable to all levels of the organization, including C-Suite
- Ability to travel up 10%
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in a global manufacturing environment, medical device preferred
- Experience with COGNOS or SAP
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
