What you'll do

  • Build the business cases for supply chain cost-saving opportunities and develop mechanisms to track savings, cost, and service metrics impacted by these projects.
  • Assist in identifying, prioritizing and driving performance improvements that will have the biggest overall impact on business results and deliver operational excellence. Key areas of focus include SC network optimization, inventory and also other supply chain projects that will drive efficiencies, reduce cost while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • The position entails leading projects focused on optimizing the supply chain network footprint, analyzing model output, and making recommendations. Collaborating with relevant teams to assess the operational feasibility based on the proposed modifications.
  • Execute project responsibilities, including data collection, analysis, documentation, presentation, status updates, and other relevant communication.
  • Develop processes and document and best practices for modeling standards that help ensure consistency across network modeling activities
  • Responsible for telling compelling stories involving complex data sets, drawing out the insights to lead to informed decisions.
  • Present recommendations, initiative progress, and initiative results to cross-departmental leadership and executive level audiences.
  • Partner with Supply Chain Analytics, Logistics and Distribution, Supply Chain Planning, and Finance to regularly distill trends in the business and key metrics.
  • All other duties as assigned

Who you are

  • Bachelors Degree in supply chain management, industrial engineering, operations research, or higher
  • Preferred 5+ years in relevant supply chain experience, Analytics/Optimization or Consulting roles
  • APICS CSCP/CPIM certification a plus
  • Strong supply chain experience and understanding of Supply Chain operating models.
  • Analytical experience, including specific experience with Supply Chain Network Modeling, inventory optimization, BI tools, visualization, relational data structures, and financial modeling.
  • Ability to work with large amounts of data and fluent in data manipulation and other analytical techniques, including display and visualization (Power BI, Tableau).
  • Strong experience with advanced Excel, SQL, Python or R, PostgreSQL or other tools to develop statistical and optimization models to drive business solutions.
  • Experience in leading and/or managing supply chain network models and modeling projects, with expertise in network modeling and solver applications like Coupa/Llamasoft, AnyLogistics, Optilogic or similar software. Familiarity with digital twin modeling and a solid understanding of cost structures, product and location representation or aggregation, and associated modeling techniques.
