A growing MSP who are headquartered in NYC are looking to bring on an experienced Sr System Engineer. This is a senior, hands-on position, where your primary focus will be spearheading several exciting projects to transform client's infrastructure. You will act as the final point of escalation for more junior members of the team, taking ownership of complex incidents, whilst collaborating with senior stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

This position will present the opportunity to work with cutting edge tools and platforms, across network, security, cloud and virtualization technologies. You will also be involved in establishing a strategic roadmap for client environments, advising on tools and platforms to advance their infrastructure, whilst always striving for continuous improvement.

What do you need?

• 4+ years of hands-on experience. Previous experience working for a MSP is highly desirable.
• Ability to manage several ongoing projects across multiple client environments.
• Extensive experience in a Windows environment across AD / O365 / VMware / Azure.
• A good grasp on security fundamentals, adopting a security-first mindset.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills to interface with clients.
