Though our business has grown, our mission remains the same: to open God's Word to as many as possible in language they can relate to and understand.We have an opportunity for a Senior Talent Management Specialist to join our team. This is a highly collaborative role, focused on designing and implementing talent solutions supporting leaders in talent management practices and decision-making related to people management issues. The Senior Talent Management Specialist will steward employees through the full talent lifecycle, including talent acquisition and development processes. This role will partner with the management team to develop and implement talent strategies that support Tyndale's business objectives while ensuring a positive experience for candidates and employees.Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a trusted partner to management teams to understand their needs and develop targeted recruiting and talent development strategies to effectively meet those needs.
  • Lead full-cycle recruitment process, including talent planning, sourcing quality candidates, interviewing, facilitating hiring decisions, and onboarding new employees.
  • Ensure exceptional user experience for all stakeholders through seamless process design and effective communication with candidates and hiring managers in all phases of the recruitment process. Develop effective relationships within the organization and the hiring community to have influence and impact the recruiting process and hiring.
  • Craft acquisition and marketing strategies to identify and reach top active and passive talent, including developing strong employer brand via external company outlets as well as social media presence.
  • Develop and execute an inclusion and diversity strategy that aligns with the organization's business goals and values.
  • Develop talent pipelines for future needs, including external candidate engagement initiatives as well as internal talent bench development.
  • Lead employee training and development programs to ensure employees are well equipped for current and future roles, including: onboarding, early career development, upskilling, mentoring, and job training.
  • Manage employee offboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition and collecting data to inform improvement initiatives.
  • Coach employees and managers on employee relations issues, escalating concerns as appropriate.
  • Maintain a deep knowledge of industry and talent management best practices and trends, advising on continuous improvement initiatives to ensure high process effectiveness and quality hires.
  • Manage talent systems, including ATS and LMS, to optimize system utilization and processes for peak efficiency.
  • Measure the effectiveness of talent management initiatives and provide insights and data-driven decision recommendations for improvements.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Related bachelor's degree; 3-5 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification desired
  • Strong emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Acknowledgement of and agreement with THM Statement of Faith
