We are seeking a talented individual to join our Talent & Inclusion COE team at Guy Carpenter. This role will be based in New York. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
The Talent and Inclusion Center of Expertise (COE) collaborates with the other teams in our people function to provide strategy, design, and subject matter expertise to the organization on talent management, development, learning, leadership, diversity and inclusion, social impact, performance and colleague experience drivers, ensuring alignment between people and business strategies. The COE implements programs that are simple and user-focused in a fast-moving environment.
We will count on you to:
* With the Chief People Officer, CEO and Executive Committee develop and implement the global talent and learning strategy.
* Design and manage the Managing Director promotion process; consult on broader promotion practices across levels in accordance with the talent strategy and workforce planning.
* Design and project manage large-scale and complex talent and learning programs and initiatives and plays a key role in customizing existing resources or developing new solutions to meet targeted group development needs, including executive coaching, development, assessment and succession planning.
* Lead global CEO and Executive Committee talent review/succession planning calibration sessions to identify succession and skill gaps and advise on appropriate talent solutions.
* Serve as an industry expert on learning and development and talent/performance management projects for program managers, HR and business leaders, and industry professionals.
* Partner with Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Partner for Guy Carpenter to close the diversity gaps in the talent pipeline and make learning content / process adjustments to enable a more diverse and inclusive workforce.
What you need to have:
* Client Service: Proven ability in successfully operating in a matrixed (geographic / functional) global work environment.
* Relationship Building: builds relationships quickly and shows particular attention to the unique needs of senior leaders
* Collaboration: Ability to collaborate and influence with direct and indirect accountability as well as build trust with senior stakeholders and peers..
* Technical Expertise: Deep experience in talent strategy, management and practices including Talent & Succession Planning, Talent Assessment, Performance and Development frameworks, Executive Coaching and Development. Deep experience in learning and development approaches, methodology and practices, with a solid knowledge of HR technology / support tools.
