Senior Tax Accountant - Global Investment Managment Company : Job Details

Premiere Global Investment Management Company based in NYC that is rapidly growing is looking for a Senior Tax Accountant.

Responsibilities of the position include:

*Review federal and state corporate tax returns to ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations.

*Prepare and analyze tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740, including the calculation of the effective tax rate, deferred taxes, and tax disclosures for financial statements.

*Assist with quarterly and annual tax provision calculations and related financial statement disclosures.

*Perform research on complex tax issues and provide guidance on tax impacts of business decisions.

*Collaborate with internal departments to gather necessary information for tax filings and provision calculations.

*Stay current with changes in tax laws and regulations at both the federal and state levels and analyze the effects on the company.

*Assist with tax audits and respond to inquiries from regulatory authorities.

*Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and optimize tax benefits.

*Assist in special projects and perform additional duties as required.

*Experience with partnership tax compliance is a plus and will be highly regarded

Requirements:

*Bachelor's degree; CPA or Master's in Taxation preferred.

*4 plus years public or public/private experience preferred.

*Strong knowledge of federal and state corporate tax compliance and experience with tax provision under ASC 740.

*Understanding of international tax compliance desirable

*Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

*Strong written and verbal communication skills.

*Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

*Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.

*Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Benefits:

*Looking to pay 140-160k with a targeted bonus of 20/30%
