Senior Tax Director - Abacus Group, LLC : Job Details

Our client is a public accounting firm. They are looking for a Senior Tax Director to join our Melville, NY office.

• Lead as direct contact to client and manage all aspects of client accounts
• Produce effective consulting, planning and compliance for your clients
• Document tax issues and identify areas of opportunity and improvement
• Research accuracy of tax returns and minimize tax liability for your clients
• Grow client base and supports business development activities
• Manage timeliness and completeness of projects
• Supervise, train and mentor staff and provide coaching on their chosen career path

• Bachelor's Degree required, MBA preferred
• 2+ years of tax accounting experience
• Public, private or combo background
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of office required
• Knowledge of Prox, Caseware, and Go File Room is preferred
• CPA certification preferred
