Senior Tax Manager (CPA) - $150K/year

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Manager to join our team and contribute to the management of tax matters related to a major residential portfolio valued at approximately $7 billion in assets under management (AUM).     • Responsibilities

  • Assume primary day-to-day responsibility for all tax matters related to the residential portfolio.
  • Manage engagements with third-party tax preparers for K-1 and tax return preparation and deadlines.
  • Review federal, state, and local tax returns and K-1s across a wide spectrum of entity types.
  • Lead special projects and contribute to strategic planning efforts, including mergers and acquisitions planning and IRS, state, and local audits.
  • Review quarterly and annual REIT compliance and provision for income taxes.

    • Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • CPA or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum of 7 years of tax experience, preferably in a corporate tax department.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in tax research and analysis.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and interact with senior management.
