Senior Technology Architect - Remote / Telecommute - Cynet Systems : Job Details

Job Description: Responsibilities: Designs varying levels of complex frameworks to support system-wide technical and business architecture requirements. Defines processes for technical platforms, system specifications, and technical and business compatibility. Identifies, analyzes and resolves design weaknesses. Works with management in carrying out strategic initiatives focused on designing, planning, developing and synchronizing strategic technological directives and implementation recommendations. Senior level position requires a seasoned professional with a full understanding of industry practices. Requires high level of experience and proficiency in field. Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge pertaining to concepts and principles in functional area. General knowledge of department/business lines, Reserve Banks, and / or System operations, policies, procedures and technologies. Communications: Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, creativity, attention to detail and oral and written communications skills tailored for the intended audience. Risk Management: [The individual] is responsible for understanding and applying risk management discipline in decision making and contributing to Candidate's or Candidate's function`s risk management. Decision Making: Works under direction and guidance in planning details of procedures and methods to attain definite objectives. Makes decisions within established or widely accepted standards. chieves assigned/planned results by decisions and actions based on professional methods, training, business principles and practical experience. This individual should have experience architecting/building pipelines and images. They should have experience with using Ansible and scanning tools. The primary focus is Linux but Windows is a plus. Qualifications: Directs major, critical and emerging technology studies by assessing merit and impact; designs, develops and establishes architecture standards for the System/Client through consulting with business application developers to ensure compliance with established System/Client technical architecture designs. Directs architectural discussions for both a technical and management audience. Partners with our clients and other resources in detecting critical architectural and infrastructure gaps or deficiencies in the IT environment and recommends solutions for improvement. Directs efforts in analyzing e-business drivers to determine business IT architecture requirement. Oversees initial project development, system design/testing, requirement direction and investigation of alternatives for implementation of feasible new technology. Provides consultative leadership on System projects focused on planning, development and implementation of strategic technological directives. Provides senior level technical guidance to other architects assigned to technology studies and implementation projects. Performs other related duties as assigned. Working Conditions: Will require the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, etc. Physical Requirements (Due to the nature of the job): Requires some degree of sitting (for prolonged periods of time), standing, lifting carrying, pushing, pulling the candidate should be able to lift 20 pounds with assistance. May be subject to on-call and call back as needed. May be exposed to moderate noise from equipment. Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience with 6 to 9+ years of relevant work experience.
